coconut story

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, a monkey fell asleep and started dreaming.

At first her dreams were small. The perfect tree. A stash of coconuts. But the monkey went on dreaming, and became more and more experienced at it. Her dreams got bigger, until they were pressing so hard on her skull, her head started to get bigger too. One day, she found a somewhat intelligent mate (as far as male monkeys go) and taught him how to dream. Together, they dreamt about the first human baby.

Hundreds of thousands of years of dreams later, humans started dreaming they were ants.

Slowly, diligently, they filled the world with cities. They now accumulate in gigantic colonies, buried under grey sky, big enough to safely harbour any dream an ant could have. It appears ants mostly dream of trees, coconuts and blue skies.
